API maniphest.edit create a new task

#1

Hello,

I am trying to understand the api for the maniphest.edit to create a new task with the name + description.

When I add them in an array and value / name as specified here: https://secure.phabricator.com/book/phabricator/article/conduit_edit/ I am getting the error that “these parameters are not defined” or is this not possible to add them in the post request body?

The api key is added as param to the url.

Can somebody help me, please?

It sounds like you’re structuring your query wrong.
Did you read https://secure.phabricator.com/book/phabricator/article/conduit/ ?

Yes I have read it. And I used a simple request x-www-form-urlenconded.
But I receive the following error.

{
    "result": null,
    "error_code": "ERR-CONDUIT-CALL",
    "error_info": "API Method \"maniphest.edit\" does not define these parameters: 'type', 'value'."
}

Do you have an example how to format the query correctly?

If you visit /conduit/method/maniphest.edit/ on your install, you can make your call via the browser, and then get instructions on how to make the same call using arc, curl and PHP.

Thanks. Now I found a solution.
