land workflow uses the first commit message of a feature branch as a merge message. This may have sense for squash-merges but looks awful IMO when doing a normal merge (two commits with the same description, often one after another). Would it be possible to add an option to configure this behavior? Even an option to use the default git merge message would be better than the current behavior.
I know I can create my own Arcanist workflow but it seems excessive for a 3 lines-long change.
arc land has a possibly relevant option:
--revision id Use the message from a specific revision, rather than inferring the revision based on branch content.
Similar here, looking to edit the squashed message when landing, had hoped for a command-line option, now trying to intercept/modify message after
arc land --hold
