Hardware sizing for phabricator installation

Greetings Gentleman,

Do we have any hardware sizing recommendations for phabricator installation , for managing a good number projects and users? Any pointers are highly appreciated.

Thx
Mark

Any modern machine with 4GB RAM or more should easily be able to handle several dozens of users. Expect a large amount of DB connections/queries.

Thanks Avivey. How does this tool scale further, lets say 100 odd repositories and 500 odd users if required?

Also since GIT is part of the same solution, would it scale well when repository size, users grew?

Repository size and count doesn’t really matter this much - it mostly effects disk size and db size.
More users will take more DB connections and more RAM on the web machine - I don’t know exactly when, but at some point you might want to add machines: https://secure.phabricator.com/book/phabricator/article/cluster/

500 users shouldn’t be an issue for a single serious machine; IIRC, Facebook was running Phabricator on a single machine with several thousands users at some point.
