Hi there folks.
Many non-enterprise Linux distributions are now including MariaDb in lieu of the Oracle-branded MySql server. To my knowledge this includes Debian and CentOs. Since MariaDb is a fork of MySql, according to what I’ve read the substitution should be mostly transparent. Does this apply to Phabricator?
Assuming it does the dependency should be changed to to MariaDb or the install_rhel-derivs.sh script would need to test for a distribution and if CentOs then instead of mysql-server it should install mariadb-server.
