OK, how to reference a line of code in a repo in remarkup - NOT a commit?

#1

Remarkup: I can not find any method to reference a line of code in a file that is in a repo.

No, I do not want to reference a commit, just some places in the source (e.g. in a discussion, in a bug report or in a wiki page).

If such a feature does not exist - that seems like a major omission to me. How do people reference pieces of code, but not whole commits?

There’s no such rule in remarkup, but you can put a link:

  • navigate to the file you wish to visit
  • click (and drag) the line number(s) you wish to reference
  • copy the URL from browser and paste into your message.
