Serving an observed repository

Hi,

Is it possible to use a SVN repository (from Phabricator URIs) that is currently observed?

My current config setup is working with URIs of repositories with working copies on the server but not for observed repos.

The command:
svn ls svn+ssh://vcs@phabricator.server/diffusion/X/
Returns an error:
“No repository found in …”

I think it is normal because for this repository, there is no Local working copy on the server.

But the documentation says that a read only repository is created (https://secure.phabricator.com/book/phabricator/article/diffusion_uris/).
Is this normal or something went wrong during the import process?

In the Storage section:
Storage Path
No Local Working Copy
Storage Cluster
Local

URI details:
I/O: read only

It’s not possible to serve an observed SVN repository in Phabricator, only a hosted SVN repository.

Under Git and Mercurial, observing a repository creates a complete local working copy which can be served, because this is the behavior of git clone and hg clone.

Under Subversion, svn checkout doesn’t create a working copy with full history that can be served, so we don’t have a complete history and can’t serve the repository.

Tank you very much for the clear answer.
