We are evaluating Phabricator as a tool for subversion revision auditing. When viewing a commit for audit we see that the ‘Branches’ field is always ‘None’ even when committing to ‘/branches/task123’. Probably as a result, the ‘Parents’ field is also always the previous revision at the ‘<svnroot>’ level and not at the actual branch level. This somewhat limits the usefulness of Phabricator for browsing a subversion repository and inspecting the history.
I guess this has to do with the different nature of branches and tags in subversion versus git/mercurial, i.e. subversion branches are determined by the repository layout and not by labels attached to a revision.
Is there a way to have Phabricator to properly determine the branch and parent when using the subversion default layout (trunk, branches/, tags/)?
