Trouble creating a new patch

I used phabricator last week to submit a patch to mozilla. I typed in the hg qnew commands today to begin a new patch and am getting this message:
*** failed to import extension phabricator from ~/usr/local/Cellar/mercurial/5.5/lib/python3.8/site-packages/hgext/phabricator.py: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: ‘/Users/jacobmulhern/usr/local/Cellar/mercurial/5.5/lib/python3.8/site-packages/hgext/phabricator.py’

Does anyone know why this might be? I didn’t change anything since submitting the previous patch.

Looks like there’s something wrong with your Mercurial installation.

hgext/phabricator.py appears to be some Phabricator support written into hg, but that’s maintained in Mercurial.

At a guess, it looks like something is looking at ~/usr/local/Cellar/ (note ~) when it should be looking at /usr/local/Cellar/ (no ~), which is why it can’t find the right files.

Do you have any idea how to find out where it is referencing that so that I can change it to the correct path?

no, I’ve never used hg.

No worries! Thanks for the response anyway!
